Tax revenue decreased by 14.3 percent

Ulaanbaatar/MONTSAME/. Total tax revenue reached MNT 7.5
trillion in the first 11 months of this year, decreased by MNT 1.3 trillion
(14.3 percent) from the same period of the previous year.
It was mainly influenced by decreases of income tax by MNT 406.2
billion (17.7 percent), social insurance revenue by MNT 378.0 billion (21.7 percent), value added tax by MNT
187.0 billion (8.4 percent), incomes from other taxes and fees by MNT 167.2
billion (19.9 percent), excise duty by MNT 84.6 billion ( 10.7 percent), and
income from external activities by MNT33.0 billion (4.6 percent).
In the tax revenue, value-added tax accounts for 27.1
percent, income tax -- 25.2 percent, social insurance revenue -- 18.2 percent,
other taxes -- 10.9 percent, excise tax -- 9.5 percent, and income from
external activities -- 9.1 percent.
