Mongolian Ambassador meets Institute of Technical Education officials

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAMEMongolia’s Ambassador to the Republic of Singapore, T. Lkhagvadorj, met with officials led by Mr. Bruce Poh Geok Huat, Chief Executive Officer at ITE, getting acquainted with the institute’s activities and exchanged views on future cooperation on 6 May 2021. The Institute of Technical Education (ITE) trains professionals in more than 25 fields, including services, engineering, technology, construction, and design. It was established as a post-secondary institution in 1992, under the Ministry of Education.


The Institute of Technical Education (ITE) offers close to 100 courses at three state-of-the-art Colleges. These courses are grouped in career clusters – Applied & Health Sciences, Business & Services, Design & Media, Electronics & InfoComm Technology, Engineering, and Hospitality. It has extensive partnerships with renowned institutions globally, and they have 40 partner institutions in 14 countries. Besides sharing and learning of best practices from these institutions, the partnerships have also broadened the global learning opportunities of its students and enhanced their professional staff capability. Therefore, ITE provides consultancy and training services in 27 countries in Asia, Africa, Latin America, and the Middle East.


The Institute of Technical Education (ITE) officials expressed their readiness to cooperate with the relevant organizations of Mongolia in the framework of training highly qualified professionals in specialized fields.
