Dermatoglyphic study by Mongolian team of researchers published on PLOS One scientific journal

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. A joint study conducted by doctors and researchers at the National Center for Mental Health and the Mongolian National University of Medical Sciences on ‘Main Characteristics of Dermatoglyphics Associated with Schizophrenia and its Clinical Subtypes’ has been published on PLOS One, a peer-reviewed scientific journal by the Public Library of Science (PLOS). The journal brings together more than 20,000 researchers in over 200 research areas and fields every year.
Researchers N.Oyunchimeg, Ts.Altansukh, L.Nasantsengel, and J.Sarantuya conducted the study in aims of determining whether the fingerprint and palmar patterns vary between schizophrenia patients and the general population.
