Foreign Minister pays courtesy call on Prime Minister of Kazakhstan

Within the framework of her official visit to the Republic of Kazakhstan, Minister
of Foreign Affairs B.Battsetseg on October 15 paid a courtesy call on Prime
Minister of Kazakhstan A.U.Mamin.
Conveying the greetings
of President of Mongolia U.Khurelsukh and Prime Minister L.Oyun-erdene, Foreign
Minister B.Battsetseg noted the steady expansion of traditional friendly relations
and cooperation with Kazakhstan. Expressing her delight with paying the first
visit of Foreign Minister of Mongolia to Kazakhstan, she showed her satisfaction with the results of the talks
and meetings held between the authorities of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs,
and the Ministry of Trade and Integration of Kazakhstan on intensifying and
developing bilateral relations in the coming years.
Prime Minister A.U.Mamin
affirmed his willingness to fulfill the duties reflected in the talks as the
pandemic situation subsides, applauding the sides for reaching an agreement to
realize many tasks in the coming years.
Foreign Minister of
Mongolia, furthermore, noted that current level of trade turnover and economic
cooperation between two countries is lower than the capability, and expressed her willingness to convene Mongolia-Kazakhstan Intergovernmental Commission in the first quarter of next year and during the event to hold a meeting of the Commission's Business council for developing business cooperation.
In turn, A.U. Mamin highlighted that Kazakhstan's trade with the countries of the region is growing, and there
is an opportunity to increase the trade turnover between the two countries to
100 million US dollars in the first place.
Noting that 2022 year
marks the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between
the two countries, Foreign Minister B.Battsetseg conveyed her hope that Prime
Minister A.U. Mamin will pay an official visit to Mongolia within the framework
of this anniversary.
