Mongolia to move into ‘Yellow’ level when 50 percent of target population receives 3rd shot

Ulaanbaatar/MONTSAME/. At today’s regular Cabinet meeting, Prime
Minister L.Oyun-Erdene told that the ‘Orange’ – Level 3 of heightened state of
readiness should be downgraded to the ‘Yellow’ - Level 2 in case 50 percent of the
target population receives the third dose of coronavirus vaccine.
In this regard, the State and Municipal Emergency Commissions were instructed to ensure preparations for the transition to the ‘Yellow’ Level. He also stressed the need of calling on citizens to get the third dose, and that scientific organizations should inform about the results of the 3rd dose.
When arts, cultural and sports activities are reopened next month with 50 percent of seating capacity, the PM deputed the Deputy Prime Minister, the Capital City Governor and related officials to establish a detailed accountability contracts with the businesses.
