Amendments to Law on President of Mongolia approved

Ulaanbaatar/MONTSAME/. At the plenary meeting of the State
Great Khural (Parliament) today, October 29, draft amendments to the law on the
Enforcement of Court Decisions and law on President of Mongolia were approved.
The Article 12.18 of the Law on President of Mongolia, saying that the President of Mongolia shall appoint and dismiss the head and members of the Judicial General Council, has been in conflict with the Law on Courts; therefore a bill to amend the Law on President of Mongolia was submitted to eliminate the conflict of the laws.
Regarding the amendment to the law on the Enforcement of Court Decisions, with a purpose to improve the social security of officers of court decision enforcement and create conditions for stable employment, the officers, who have been working constantly for five or more years in areas other than the capital city and provincial centers, will be provided a cash bonus equal to their 30 months’ basic salary every five years.
