Mongolian delegation takes part in 143rd regular session of IPU Assembly

Ulaanbaatar/MONTSAME/. Mongolian parliamentarians, led by
Chair of the Standing Committee on Legal Affairs MP S.Byambatsogt, participated
in the 143rd regular session of the IPU Assembly taken place in Madrid on
November 25-30 - the first in-person Assembly since October
2019.
Co-hosted by the Parliament of the Kingdom of Spain, the
session brought together more than 1000 parliamentarians and representatives of
over 100 countries and regional and international organizations.
The Mongolian delegation comprising of MP N.Uchral, MP
Ts.Davaasuren, MP J.Sukhbaatar and Secretary-General of the State Great Hural
L.Ulziisaikhan gave speeches at the plenary session, branch meetings and
standing committee meetings of the Assembly, and exchanged views on bilateral
relations and cooperation between the legislatures during meetings with
parliamentarians from other countries.
Moreover, during the women parliamentarians’ forum of the Assembly
MP Ch. Undram was elected as a member of the Bureau of the Women
Parliamentarians. In addition, MP B. Saranchimeg was elected as a Vice
President of the Committee on Democracy and Human Rights.
