‘Insulation of private house’ training held

Ulaanbaatar/MONTSAME/. Thermal insulation is one of the most
important attributes of energy-efficient buildings. Proper installation and
execution of thermal insulation not only provides warmth and comfort but also
saves energy, economical in the long run and is an important measure against
air pollution.
The Public-Private-Partnership project ‘Strategic Partnership for Training in the Construction Sector’ organized a training on ‘Insulation of private house’ in cooperation with one of the project’s private sector partners ‘Mongol Basalt’ LLC on the 12th, 13th of January, 2022.
Technical and Vocational Education and Training /TVET/
institution teachers, representatives of business entities and citizens
interested, attended the training to learn about private house insulation
materials and insulation technology. Training was held under the supervision of
engineers from Mongol Basalt and clarified questions from participants
regarding insulation requirements and material cost. GIZ technical advisor
addressed additional information regarding:
- Considerations for thermal insulation
- Technology for making fire protection belts for building
facades
- The correct technology for the installation of building
embankments
- Introduced the importance of thermal insulation in
buildings and provided professional advice on questions of interested
participants
The project is supported by develoPPP.de – a program of the
German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ), which
promotes the commitment of companies to sustainable developmental benefit for
the local people.
