Telephone conservation held with US Deputy Secretary of State
PoliticsUlaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. The 35th anniversary of
the establishment of diplomatic relations between Mongolia and the United
States of America was
marked yesterday, January 27. On this occasion, a telephone conversation
was held by the Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs of Mongolia B. Munkhjin
and the US Deputy Secretary of State Wendy R. Sherman.
The parties talked about a plan of actions and events to be organized within the framework of the anniversary while exchanging greetings on the anniversary.
Noting the ever-expanding bilateral relations and
cooperation on the basis of shared values such as democracy, human rights and
free market, the Deputy Minister expressed Mongolia’s commitment to maintaining
the political trust within the framework of the Strategic Partnership between
Mongolia and the United States, and enriching relations with economic content.
The US Deputy Secretary of State highlighted that the
United States attaches great importance to the development of its Strategic Partnership
with Mongolia. In addition, she reaffirmed commitment to the further expansion
of bilateral relations and cooperation in all areas and wished the Mongolian
people good health and prosperity.
