Order of Glorious Mother conferred

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. On the occasion of the International Children’s Day, President of Mongolia U.Khurelsukh issued a decree on conferring the Order of Glorious Mother, First and Second Class, on mothers who gave birth to and raised multiple children.
The conferral
ceremonies of the Order of Glorious Mother, which started on May 25, wrapped up
today, May 31. This year, 912 mothers
received the Order of Glorious Mother, First Class, and 11,647 mothers received
the Order of Glorious Mother, Second Class.
During the ceremony, President
U.Khurelsukh said that the government's provision of the ‘Child Money’, a
monthly allowance for the children, is not a social welfare, but a state policy
to increase the population and support mothers and children, and that the
country will prosper as the population grows. He wished the families, spouses,
children, and relatives of the glorious mothers good health and prosperity.
