Resolution on establishing Forestry Agency approved

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. At its regular meeting today, the
Cabinet has approved a resolution on establishing Forestry Agency.
Last year, the Government made a decision to liquidate the ‘Forestry Research and Development Center’ and establish a Forestry Agency. In connection, the relevant budget was approved. In June this year, the issue related to the establishment of the agency was presented to the Parliament and have it resolved.
Upon the aforementioned decision, the Forestry Agency in charge of organizing ‘One Billion Trees’ national movement and providing professional guidance will start its operations officially,” said Minister of Environment and Tourism B.Bat-Erdene.
