Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. Prime Minister of Mongolia L. Oyun-Erdene along with relevant ministers today met the citizens demonstrating at the central square.

The demonstrators are demanding the Government reveal the names of the officials who are involved in the coal theft allegations.

Prime Minister L. Oyun-Erdene said, "The Government of Mongolia has been consistently supporting the movement to bring justice to the issues surrounding the coal theft allegations. It has been 21 days since we first brought up this issue and appointed a special representative at “Erdenes Tavantolgoi” JSC. The names of the politicians who are involved in this case will be revealed soon. Up to 100 representatives of citizens are able to join the working group established during today’s Cabinet meeting. We will closely cooperate with the Independent Authority Against Corruption, General Intelligence Agency, and other relevant law enforcement agencies. We have to give them time to thoroughly investigate this issue. The people involved in the coal issue are also deliberately trying to incite and divert the demonstrators. Therefore, I am sure that the people of Mongolia will distinguish what is right and wrong and make rational conclusions.

The citizens are demonstrating at the central square for the fourth day.
