The Government of Mongolia to Provide Humanitarian Aid to Turkey and Syria

Ulaanbaatar, February 7, 2023 /MONTSAME/. The Mongolian Government will provide humanitarian aid to those affected
by the devastating earthquakes that have struck Turkey and Syria.
The Government has submitted its humanitarian assistance offer,
including a medical team consisting of 35 doctors and nurses and other required
emergency and relief supplies, to the Embassy of Turkey in Mongolia.
Deputy Prime Minister S. Amarsaikhan expressed his
heartfelt condolences for the loss of lives in the earthquake that hit Turkey
and Syria and his sympathy for the affected people. “Mongolia and Turkey have
worked closely together against disasters. We will stand by the rescuers who
are racing against the clock to save people trapped under the rubble amid
risks.” he said.
