Mongolian Team Captures Their First Win of the Championship

Ulaanbaatar, March 12, 2023 /MONTSAME/. 2023 IIHF Ice Hockey U18 Asia and Oceania Championship started on March 11 in Ulaanbaatar. 

 

According to the results of the first day, the United Arab Emirates men's national junior ice hockey team captured the first win of the 2023 IIHF Ice Hockey U18 Asia and Oceania Championship against Thailand men's national junior ice hockey team with a score of 6 – 2, while the Uzbekistan team captured their first win against Turkmenistan team. 

 

The third game of the first day was between Mongolia and Iran and the Mongolian team picked up their first win of the Championship with a dramatic 5-0 win against the Iran team.

 

 Today’s matches (March 12):

Thailand – Turkmenistan will start at 13:30  

Iran – Uzbekistan will start at 17:00

Mongolia-United Arab Emirates will start at 20:30
