MoU Signed to Expand Cooperation

/MONTSAME/. On May 12,
Minister of Foreign Affairs B. Battsetseg and Minister of Industry and Trade of
the Czech Republic Jozef Síkela signed a Memorandum of Understanding on
Cooperation in the Mining Sector between the Ministry of Mining and Heavy
Industry of Mongolia and the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic.
The MoU will unveil many opportunities for the two
countries to conduct joint programs and projects, cooperate in the research
sector, foster cooperation of the private sectors, carry out mining
rehabilitation, and exchange experience and know-how on eco-friendly waste
management.
The parties further
reached an agreement to develop mutually beneficial cooperation by intensifying
the cooperation between the two countries in the fields of geology and mining,
cooperating in training and exchange of experts, and conducting joint research,
using the advanced techniques and technologies of the Czech Republic.
