Foreign Minister Battsetseg Receives Prince Turki, Minister of State of Saudi Arabia

Ulaanbaatar, September 6, 2023 /MONTSAME/. On September 5, 2023, Foreign Minister of Mongolia Battsetseg Batmunkh received His Royal Highness Prince Turki bin Mohammed bin Fahd Al Saud, Minister of State and Member of the House of Saud of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, upon his Official Visit to Mongolia.
At the onset of the Meeting, Foreign Minister Battsetseg noted that the first Visit of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to Mongolia would be of high significance in upgrading relations between the two countries to a new level. The Minister expressed the country's commitment to expand cooperation between Mongolia and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in environment, tourism, and agriculture sectors in order to improve economic cooperation and investment in the future. To achieve the aims, Ms. Battsetseg underscored the importance of enhancing the legal basis of bilateral relations and facilitating the citizens' travel between the two countries.
His Royal Highness Prince Turki bin Mohammed bin Fahd Al Saud conveyed the warm greetings of Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Saudi Arabia, to Foreign Minister Ms. Battsetseg. The Minister of State of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia expressed the willingness to develop the relations and cooperation between the two countries in all fields, bringing them to a new level. In this regard, His Royal Highness Prince Turki stated that the country focuses attention on improving the economic cooperation and developing the tourism sector of the two countries.
The Meeting also touched the cooperation opportunities between Mongolia and Saudi Arabia in hosting the 16th and 17th sessions of the Conference of the Parties to the UN Convention to Combat Desertification in the countries
