Mongolian Premier Visits Gold Refinery Plant in Kyrgyzstan

Ulaanbaatar, October 23, 2023 /MONTSAME/. At the invitation of Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic and Head of the Presidential Administration Akylbek Japarov, Prime Minister of Mongolia Oyun-Erdene Luvsannamsai is paying a Working Visit to the Kyrgyz Republic. As part of his official Visit, Prime Minister of Mongolia Oyun-Erdene Luvsannamsai visited the Kyrgyzaltyn JSC refined gold plant on October 25, 2023.
In 1992, the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic established the Karabaltinsky Mining Combine to refine gold and silver. On January 15, 2001, the President of Kyrgyzstan issued a decree titled "On measures for the further development of gold mining and production in Kyrgyzstan," which granted Kyrgyzaltyn JSC the exclusive right to sell refined gold and silver.
Kyrgyzaltyn JSC has an annual production capacity of 40 tons of refined gold and silver. The company uses a technology for processing gold-containing raw materials to refine doré alloy with a high silver content. Kyrgyzaltyn JSC also has a research laboratory to determine the quality of gold. The company produces gold bars of doré alloy of 999.9 and silver bars of 999, both of which are accredited by the United Kingdom Accreditation Service, the national accreditation body of England.
Since October 1999, Kyrgyzaltyn JSC's metal brands have been listed on the London Metal Exchange's Good Delivery list. Prime Minister L. Oyun-Erdene was briefed on the development of the Djeru and Taldi-Bulak Levoberezhny deposits.
