Political Consultation Meeting between the Foreign Ministries of Mongolia and Finland Takes Place

Ulaanbaatar, June 6, 2024 /MONTSAME/. The Second Political Consultation Meeting between the Foreign Ministries of Mongolia and the Republic of Finland took place on June 5, 2024.


During the Consultation Meeting, the parties exchanged views on expanding and developing the friendly relations and cooperation between Mongolia and Finland in areas such as trade, economy, investment, energy, environment, culture, and education. The officials also discussed the possibilities of collaboration within Mongolia's Long-Term and Medium-Term National Development Policies, common goals, and the "One Billion Trees" National Campaign and the "Mission-2100" Scholarship Program initiated by the President of Mongolia.


The meeting was co-chaired by Ms. Battungalag Gankhuurai, Director General of Department for Europe of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia, and Juha Niemi, Deputy Director of the Department for the Americas and Asia at the Ministry for Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Finland.
