State Visit of President of Laos to Mongolia Concludes

Ulaanbaatar, June 12, 2024 /MONTSAME/. A State Visit by President of the Lao People's Democratic Republic Thongloun Sisoulith to Mongolia at the invitation of President of Mongolia Khurelsukh Ukhnaa concluded on June 12, 2024.
Head of the Office of the President of Mongolia Sodbaatar Yangug and other officials saw off President Thongloun Sisoulith and honorable guests at the Chinggis Khaan International Airport of Mongolia.
The official talks between the two Heads of State during the Visit consolidated decisions and agreements reached during President Khurelsukh's State Visit to Laos in 2023, opening a new chapter in the history of bilateral relations for the next sixty years.
Mongolia pursues a policy of actively participating in multilateral cooperation in the Asia-Pacific Region. In this context, considering Laos as an important partner in Southeast Asia, this visit held high significance in deepening relations and cooperation between the two countries, strengthening people-to-people ties, and determining the future direction of cooperation.
