Preparation for the World Women’s Forum Discussed

Ulaanbaatar, July 30, 2024 /MONTSAME/. Acting State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia Munkhtushig Lkhanaajav received Head of the Regional Delegation for East Asia at the International Committee of the Red Cross Balthasar Staehelin on July 30, 2024.
At the meeting, the two sides exchanged views on the current international situation, armed conflicts, humanitarian aid, the legal framework of international humanitarian activities, Mongolia’s contribution, and cooperation in the future. They also shared information on the preparation of the World Women’s Forum to be held in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, on August 22-23, 2024.
Acting State Secretary Munkhtushig mentioned that this year marks the 85th anniversary of the establishment of the Mongolian Red Cross Society, and noted the Ministry of Foreign Affairs will provide all-around support to bolster the relations and expand the cooperation between the Mongolian Red Cross Society and the International Committee of the Red Cross.
