Mongolian Athletes Gear Up for 2025 National and International Competitions
SportsUlaanbaatar, January 2, 2025 /MONTSAME/. Athletes of the Mongolian national team concluded last year with remarkable success, claiming over 80 medals in major regional and world sports competitions.
This year, 2025, 56 sports federations will organize 197 summer and winter competitions, Specifically, 60 events will be for adults, 28 for youth, 59 for juniors, and 30 for seniors. Additionally, under Government Resolution No. 183, the 16th Summer Games of the Mongolian People, held every four years, and the 8th Mongolian Children’s Games, held every two years, will take place.
Here is the schedule for the World Championships in Mongolia’s top sports disciplines in 2025:

Freestyle Wrestling: September 13–21, Zagreb, Croatia
Shooting: November 6–16, Cairo, Egypt
Table Tennis: May 17–25, Doha, Qatar
3x3 Basketball: June 23–29, Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia
Swimming: July 11–August 3, Singapore
Archery: September 5–12, Gwangju, South Korea
Athletics: September 13–21, Tokyo, Japan
Cycling: September 21–28, Kigali, Rwanda
Weightlifting: October 3–12, Forde, Norway
Gymnastics: October 19–25, Jakarta, Indonesia
Taekwondo: October 24–30, Wuxi, China
