In Ulaanbaatar:
January 13: There will be a meeting of parties and groups of the State Great Khural of Mongolia.
January 14: A hearing for candidates nominated for a non-staff member position on the Monetary Policy Committee of the Central Bank of Mongolia will be held at the State Palace of Mongolia.
January 14, 15: Standing Committee sessions of the State Great Khural will be held at the State Palace of Mongolia.
January 15: The regular meeting of the Cabinet of Mongolia will be held at the State Palace of Mongolia.
January 15: A discussion on the topic of “Air Pollution - Human Health” will be held in the “Great Chinggis Khaan” Hall of the State Palace of Mongolia.
January 15: The official process of accepting applications from citizens for vehicle license plates will begin.
January 16, 17: A Plenary Session of the State Great Khural of Mongolia will be held at the State Palace of Mongolia.
January 17-19: The Mongolian National Billiards Championship 2025 will be held.
January 18: The State Opera and Ballet Academic Theatre of Mongolia will present the ballet “La Fille mal gardée” by F. Herold.
January 19: The Mongolian National Shooting Championship 2025 will be held at the Buyant-Ukhaa Complex in Ulaanbaatar.
Local events:
January 13: A lecture titled "Democracy as a Guarantee of Security" will be held at the Local Administration Palace of Umnugobi aimag, aimed at promoting and disseminating the principles of the Constitution of Mongolia.
January 13: A traditional Mongol wrestling tournament with 64 wrestlers will take place in Murun soum, Khuvsgul aimag, in commemoration of the adoption of the Democratic Constitution of Mongolia.
January 13-17: The 7th Mongolian Taekwondo Festival will be held in Khutul of Saikhan soum, Selenge aimag, under the theme "Let's Love and Protect Our Gobi Bear (Mazaalai)", featuring competitions in seven categories.
January 17: The "Six Wings of Melody" Music Competition for secondary school students will be held at the Musical Drama Theatre of Arkhangai aimag.
January 17-19: The “Mungulug Shagshuurga - 2025” Ice Festival will be celebrated in Khovd aimag.
January 18: The "Ongo River” Ice Festival will be held in Umnugobi aimag.
Abroad:
The “Mongol Language and Script” Exhibition will be held in Taiwan, Seoul, South Korea, and Tokyo, Japan, from January 15 to February 25, 2025.
