Young Mongolian Acrobats Earn Bronze at the Monte Carlo Circus Festival
SportsUlaanbaatar, January 22, 2025 /MONTSAME/. Mongolian circus performers won the bronze trophy at the 47th Monte-Carlo International Circus Festival held in Monte-Carlo, Monaco.
Specifically, young acrobatic performers from the Mongolian Circus Development Center, under the guidance of producer N. Erdene and coach N. Enkhbold, secured the bronze in the youth category. A total of 231 circus performers from 20 countries competed, showcasing their incredible talents.
Known as the Olympics of the circus world, this top-tier international competition saw three Mongolian teams participating in three different categories this year.
Additionally, contortionists from the Mongolian Circus Development Center had previously appeared in the 2019 live-action remake of Walt Disney’s “Dumbo,” playing a supporting role in bringing the 60-year-old animated classic to the big screen.
