Ministry of Education of Mongolia and the Kumon Institute Sign a Memorandum of Understanding

Ulaanbaatar, February 12, 2025 /MONTSAME/. Minister of Education of Mongolia Naranbayar Purevsuren received the representatives of the Kumon Institute of Education of Japan on February 11, 2025.
At the meeting, Vice President of the Licensing Operations Promotion Department of the Kumon Institute of Education Kentaro Miyoshi presented the "Kumon Method" learning program. The Kumon Institute operates in 63 countries worldwide, offering customized tutoring tailored to each student's level and assessing their progress step by step.
The Institute was named after mathematics educator Toru Kumon, as it fully incorporates his teaching methodology and educational system.
Minister of Education Naranbayar expressed gratitude to the representatives of the Kumon Institute for accepting his invitation, which was offered during his official visit to Japan in November 2024, to introduce the "Kumon Method" to private schools in Mongolia.
At the meeting, a Memorandum of Understanding on Implementing a Pilot Project for Introducing the Kumon Method in Mongolia was signed between the Ministry of Education of Mongolia and the Kumon Institute of Education.
The MoU was signed by Head of the General Education Department of the Ministry of Education of Mongolia M. Tsogzolmaa and Vice President of the Licensing Operations Promotion Department of the Kumon Institute of Education Kentaro Miyoshi.
