Foreign Minister of Mongolia Attends the “Feminist Foreign Policy Network” Ministerial-Level Meeting

Ulaanbaatar, February 17, 2025 /MONTSAME/. On February 15, 2025, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia Battsetseg Batmunkh participated in the “Feminist Foreign Policy Network” ministerial-level meeting held in Munich, the Federal Republic of Germany.
This ministerial-level meeting is held annually during international conferences and forums, bringing together foreign ministers to discuss issues related to protecting women’s rights, empowering women, and ensuring gender equality. This year’s meeting focused on supporting Syrian women in the country's transitional government period and ensuring their participation in decision-making processes. Following the discussions, participants issued a joint statement summarizing the outcomes of the meeting.
At the meeting, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia Battsetseg Batmunkh highlighted that challenges faced by women and girls are not confined to specific regions, and underscored the importance of addressing the issue on a global scale.
