Bayan Jargant Khuns LLC Supplies Meat Products to 18 Soums in Bayankhongor

Ulaanbaatar, April 11, 2025 /MONTSAME/. Advisor on Industrial Policy to the President of Mongolia Davaabayar Chimiddorj got acquainted with the operations of Bayan Jargant Khuns LLC, a local producer of sausages and meat products in Bayankhongor soum Bayankhongor aimag, under the “Food Supply and Security” National Movement of Mongolia.
The company produces a variety of sausages and eight types of meat, including smoked meats, and is capable of supplying 50 percent of Bayankhongor aimag’s demand for meat and meat products. Its distribution network covers all 18 soums of the Bayankhongor aimag. The factory uses raw materials sourced from its own cattle farm and produces fresh and healthy food daily.
Director of Bayan Jargant Khuns LLC Z. Sharav noted, “Through the 'Food Supply and Security' National Movement, we accessed a soft loan, which enabled us to fully upgrade our factory equipment. We also expanded our cattle farm, resolving raw material issues, which led to a threefold increase in output and sales. Our products have now become a regional brand. In rural areas, obtaining fresh, safe food is very challenging due to changes in taste and increased prices during transportation.”
The “Food Supply and Security” National Movement of Mongolia has effectively supported and encouraged local food producers, yielding significant benefits for small and medium-sized enterprises.
Bayan Jargant Khuns LLC, utilizing a soft loan under the “Food Supply and Security” National Movement, has fully automated its facility and tripled its production capacity. The factory currently employs 17 people and produces three tons of meat and meat products daily for sale in markets and retail centers. The company plans to install fully intelligent equipment with no human involvement in the future as part of its continued modernization efforts.
