Foreign Minister of Mongolia to Pay an Official Visit to the Republic of Indonesia

Ulaanbaatar, May 21, 2025 /MONTSAME/. At the invitation of Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia Sugiono, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia Battsetseg Batmunkh will pay an official visit to the Republic of Indonesia on May 21-22, 2025.
This will be the first official visit by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia to the Republic of Indonesia since 1982.
During the official visit, Foreign Minister Battsetseg will pay a courtesy call on Speaker of the People's Consultative Assembly of the Republic of Indonesia Ahmad Muzani and hold official talks with Foreign Minister Sugiono. The Foreign Minister of Mongolia will also meet Secretary-General of ASEAN Kao Kim Hourn and President of the Economic Research Institute for ASEAN and East Asia Tetsuya Watanabe to exchange views on a broad range of issues on regional cooperation.
The official visit aims at deepening friendly relations and cooperation between Mongolia and the Republic of Indonesia, an influential ASEAN Member State, invigorating political dialogue, and discussing matters of mutual interest in international and regional affairs.
