Mongolian Boxers Win 16 Medals at the World Boxing Cup European Series 2025

Ulaanbaatar, June 17, 2025 /MONTSAME/. The Mongolian National Boxing Team, led by Coaches J. Enkhtur, O. Batkhuu, and J. Yerkin, won 16 medals at the World Boxing Cup European Series 2025.
The National Team participated in an international joint
training and three competitions within 38 days, winning five gold, seven
silver, and four bronze medals. The boxers claimed four medals at the Grand Prix Usti Nad Labem in the Czech Republic, the latest competition they took part. Specifically,
at the 55th annual Grand Prix, Bat-Ulzii Erdenetsogt won gold, Battulga Aldarkhishig
and Michidmaa Erdenedalai claimed the silver,
and Bilguunsaikhan Kharkhuu secured bronze medals.
Honored Coach Enkhtur Jadamba participated in this
prestigious competition 40 years ago and secured the gold medal by winning
against the renowned Cuban boxer Niño Valdés.
The next competition for the Mongolian National Boxing Team
will be the World Cup, which will begin on June 30, 2025, in Astana City,
Kazakhstan.
