Best musical compositions bought to state fund

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The Government implementing agency Culture
and Arts Authority in collaboration with Union of Mongolian Composers organized
an activity to select the best and biggest musical compositions to be bought to
the state fund in 2018 from October 1 to October 30.
A total of 12 music pieces were received in the selection held according to the regulation on buying the best biggest compositions to the state fund approved by the Government in 2006. Among them, members of the professional council decided to buy five compositions to the state fund namely, Concert for Mongolian zither No2 by N.Jantsannorov, music of ‘The Children of Genghis’ film by Sh.Ulziibayar, concert II for Mongolian zither by Tsen.Erdenebat, ‘Baitag Bogd’ eulogy by B.Gankhuyag and ‘Rapsodia’ by J.Enkhbayar.
Certificates were presented to the composers during Golden Autumn 2018 festival's gala concert took place on
October 30 in the State Academic Theater of Opera and Ballet.
The Culture and Arts Authority plans to organize discussions on the Best compositions bought to the state fund in 2018, to publicize the music works by releasing an album and increase the possibilities to use the works in repertory of professional arts organizations.
