President meets Mongolists

Ulaanbaatar/MONTSAME/. Today, President Kh. Battulga received representatives of Mongolists who are taking part in the fourth edition of the International Conference ‘Cultural heritage of the Mongols: manuscript and archival collections’ being held on April 18-19 in Ulaanbaatar.
It is being organized under the patronage of the President of Mongolia by the Institute of History and Archeology of the Mongolian Academy of Sciences (MAS), Institute of Oriental Manuscripts of the Russian Academy of Sciences and International Association of Mongol Studies.
At the meeting, the
President appreciated the scholars for co-organizing the conference and
discussing important reports while expressing his commitment to support
Mongolian Studies as a Head of State. In addition, the President asked the
scholars to take active part in the events for 800th anniversary of Kharkhorum-
ancient capital of Mongolia to be marked next year and in the 12th International Congress of Mongolists to be held in 2021.
