Yak festival to take place this month

Arkhangai /MONTSAME/ The Mongolian Yak festival aimed at
promoting the bovine to foreign and domestic tourists will be held on August 17
to 20 in the Taikhar Rock in Ikh Tamir soum of Arkhangai aimag.
The event also aims to promote products made of
yak wool, honor the herders’ efforts to improve the bovine’s breed and productivity,
expand the market, and increase raw material sales.
The festival features yak parade, various competitions,
exhibition, and concert.
