Mongolian sculptors win ice sculpturing competition

Ulaanbaatar/MONTSAME/. On November 25-30, an international competition of snow and ice sculptures ‘Diamonds of Yakutia’ was held with the participation of 25 teams from Belarus, Canada, China, Mongolia, Ukraine and Russia. The teams presented their sculptures on the streets.
On the last day of the competition, winners of the competition
were named during the ceremony of a festival ‘Winter begins with Yakutia’. In the ‘Ice sculptures’ category, Mongolian sculptors
D. Tserenbat and B. Bayarsaikhan became a winner with their work ‘Harvaach (Archer)’.
They were followed by Russian and Yakut sculptors.
In the ‘Snow
sculpture’ category, Yakut sculptors took the first place while Mongolian sculptors
D.Gankhuleg and N.Altanshagai claimed the second place.
