Ulaanbaatar, October 13, 2025 /MONTSAME/. Summary of events for the week of October 13-19, 2025.


Events in Ulaanbaatar:

October 13: The President of Mongolia, Khurelsukh Ukhnaa, is paying a State Visit to the Republic of India at the invitation of Indian President Droupadi Murmu and Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

October 13: The meeting of parliamentary caucuses will convene.

October 13: International Day for Disaster Risk Reduction will be observed.

October 13: The Czech-Mongolian Business Forum will be held at the Mongolian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MNCCI).

October 14: The discussion of the terminology of the draft Law on Freedom of the Press will be held at the Puma Imperial Hotel.

October 14: The Day of Metrology and Standardization Professionals will be observed.

October 14: The solo exhibition “Setslel” by artist Badam Dashdondog will open at the Mongolian Art Gallery. 



October 14-15: Standing Committees of the State Great Khural will convene.

October 14-20: The Mongolia-India and Mongolia-China (Ningbo City) business meetings will be held at the Mongolian National Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MNCCI).

October 15: The Cabinet of Mongolia will convene at the State Palace.

October 15: The Day of Human Resource Professionals will be observed.

October 15-16: The European Union-Mongolia Business and Investment Forum will be held for the first time in Ulaanbaatar at the Shangri-La Hotel.

October 16: World Food Day will be observed.

October 16: “Study in China” Education Exhibition will be held at the Corporate Hotel.

October 16: The exhibition “Watercolor” by artist L. Khalzan, member of the Union of Mongolian Artists (UMA), will open at the UMA Exhibition Hall.

October 16-17: The plenary session of the State Great Khural will convene.

October 17: The opening concert of the Mongolian Philharmonic's 53rd season, “NEW SEASON 2026, will be performed at the State Philharmonic Concert Hall. 



October 17: A scientific conference dedicated to the 65th anniversary of training national geology professionals and to Mongolian Geologists’ Day will be held at the Conference Hall of Building No.1 at the Mongolian University of Science and Technology (MUST).

October 17: The “Mongolian Arbitration Week 2025” international conference will be held at the Mongolian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MNCCI).

October 17: A traditional Mongolian wrestling tournament featuring 64 wrestlers will be held in honor of the 70th anniversary of the Institute of Physical Education at the Mongolian State University of Education.

October 17-18: The "Choice-2025" Education Exhibition to study at Russia's top universities will be held at the Russian Center for Science and Culture.



October 18: A wrestling event featuring locally titled and young wrestlers will be held.

October 18: Mongolian Geologists’ Day will be observed.

October 18: A peaceful assembly to advocate for the rights of geologists will be held at Sukhbaatar Square under the slogan "Invest in Science, Build the Future!".

October 19: Mongolian Customs Officers’ Day will be observed. 

October 19: Mongolian Marketers’ Day will be observed.


Until October 17: The exhibition “Bent But Not Broken II: A diary of my isolated days” is on display at the Norphei Art Gallery. 



Until October 26: The nationwide “Autumn Tree Planting Days” campaign will continue across Mongolia.

The nationwide “Golden Autumn - Let’s Care for the Trees Planted” awareness campaign is underway. 

Until November 1: The Ministry of Food, Agriculture, and Light Industry is conducting a nationwide campaign “Imported Food Safety and Inspection”.

Until November 3: The nationwide campaign “Cultural Space - Our Environment” will continue.

Until November 14: Registration for Mongolia’s 2025 Winter university entrance exam remains open until November 14, 2025.


Local events: 

October 13: “Arkhangai Abilympics 2025” vocational skills competition will be organized in Arkhangai aimag.

October 13: The “Autumn Green Days” event will be held in Uliastai soum, Zavkhan aimag.

October 13-22: A state-level inspection of archival holdings, official documentation, and organizational practices will be conducted in Selenge aimag.


Until October 26: The Autumn “National Tree Planting Day” initiative will be observed across all aimags.

Until November 3: The “Cultural Space - Our Environment” campaign will continue across 24 soums of Zavkhan aimag.

Until November 20: The national inventory of movable historical and cultural artifacts will continue in Khovd aimag.


Events abroad:

October 15-19: The “Thunderpick World Championship 2025”, a Tier 1 international “Counter Strike 2” esports tournament, will be held in Malta. The Mongolian esports team “The Mongolz” is set to compete in the tournament.


Until October 20: The play “Mongol Khan” will be performed in Tokyo, Japan.
