Nat’l championship for judo to take place in Erdenet
SportsUlaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The national judo championship of Mongolia for 2016 will take place on January 7-10 in the “Khangarid” sports club in Erdenet city.
Co-organized by the Mongolia’s Judo Federation (MJF), the administration of Orkhon aimag, the Judo Federation of Orkhon aimag and the “Khangarid” club, this year’s national championship is coincided with the 40th anniversary of Orkhon aimag and the 20th anniversary of winning of the bronze medal by a Mongolian judoka D.Narmandakh at the Atlanta 1996 Olympics.
The tournament will run in the men’s weight categories of -60 kg, -66 kg, -73 kg, -81 kg, -90 kg, -100 kg, +100 kg, women’s -48 kg, -52 kg, -57 kg, -63 kg, -70 kg, -78 kg, and +78 kg. Team competitions will be held as well.
