B.Maral-Erdene IMS becomes Asian champion in cycling
SportsUlaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ A athlete from the “Mon-Altius” institute of physical culture and sports B.Maral-Erdene IMS has won a gold medal in the 36th edition of the Asian Cycling Championships in Japan, which kicked off January 19 in Japan.
Our cyclist Maral-Erdene competed in the 33.6 km men’s time trial race, and finished the race in 45 minutes and 22 seconds. He was followed by cyclists from Hong Kong and Japan.
One of the cyclists trained by a State Honored Sportsman J.Olzii-Orshikh, an international master of sports Maral-Erdene has grabbed a bronze medal in the national championship of Mongolia, other medals in international tournaments and Asian University Championships.
