Women bodybuilders become World Champions
SportsUlaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The 8th World Bodybuilding and Physique Championships are taking place in Bangkok, Thailand. By Sunday, Mongolia has gotten 2 world champions and 2 bronze medalists from this year’s championships.
Mongolia is being represented by 10 men and 6 women to the WBPF Championships, which attracted more than 600 athletes from 59 countries.
The Asian Champion A.Ichinnorov grabbed the first gold medal for the team, championing the Women’s Fitness Physique up to 160 cm. In the same category, B.Badamsuren of Mongolia won a bronze medal.
On Sunday, the world champion G.Ugalztsetseg lived up to her title once again and won the gold medal in Women’s Athletic Physique up to 165 cm, in which category our athlete G.Gansaruul won the bronze medal, as well.
In men’s bodybuilding category, L.Saruulbat of Mongolia also won a bronze medal. The championships are to wrap up on Monday.
