Mongolian junior basketball team brings home 3 medals

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The fifth “International Eastercup Berlin-Moabit 2017”, International Basketbll Federation (FIBA)-approved basketball tournament took place in Berlin, Germany on April 13-17. Mongolian junior athletes of two male and a female teams participated in the event, snatching two silvers and one bronze medals from the event.
Under the training of Orchlon Health Club’s coach G.Undrakh, male “B” team took home a bronze medal in the “Under 14” age category. By the request of the organizer, the team advanced into “Under 15” age category and won a silver medal from the tournament. Showing incredible match against the Latvian team (Latvia 33: 26 Mongolia), the Mongolian team received positive appraisal from the audience.
As for the male “A” team, young athletes under the coaching of D.Lhagvaa and J.Munkhtugs won another silver medal in the “Under 14” age category.
