512 wrestlers to compete during Naadam

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ A total of 512 wrestlers will be participating in the National Naadam Celebration, which is marking the 2226th anniversary of establishment of First Mongolian State, 811th anniversary of Great Mongol Empire and 96th anniversary of People’s Revolution this year.
The wrestlers will be registered on July 9-10 from at the Mongolian Wrestling Palace. As previously, the opening and closing ceremony of Naadam will take place at the Central Stadium. The tickets for Naadam wrestling competition will be available for purchase at Central Cultural Palace from July 7 and are set at MNT 16 thousand, MNT 20 thousand and MNT 24 thousand. The Ministry of Finance is financing MNT 1.9 billion for Naadam budget, while the remaining MNT 550 million is being financed from Ulaanbaatar City budget. By an estimate, MNT 330 million will be collected from the tickets.
