World Best Players of draughts to compete in Mongolia

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The international draughts “Open World Cup 2017” will be held in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia between July 21 and 28.
This is the first time a World Cup draughts event will be held in Mongolia. According to the registration, a total of 56 players will be competing in the tournament, which includes Grandmasters such as Alexei Chizhov (Russia), Guntis Valneris (Latvia), Murodullo Amrillaev (Russia), Yuriy Anikeev (Ukraine), Yauheni Vatustin (Belarus), as well as International Master Ivan Trofimov (Russia) have registered.
Furthermore, GMI Alexander Georgiev and GMIF Aigul Idrisova, the leaders in the World Draughts Rating list, have registered to participate in the tournament as well.
From Mongolia, over 40 players led by D.Erdenebileg, G.Ganjargal and R.Manlai. The eldest participant in the tournament is 77 year-old D.Dorj, while the youngest participants are 11 year-olds E.Khuslen, B.Bayarmanlai, Ch.Maral-Erdene and B.Sukhbat.
