Uliastai soum of Zavkhan aimag makes bicycle riding a habit

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Uliastai soum of Zavkhan aimag has been implementing a bicycle program for five months. Every weekend, the residents are used to making a bicycle tour.
As of today, 56 organizations and business entities in Uliastai soum have placed bicycle stands outside their offices. Also, Khan Bank in Zavkhan aimag ran a week campaign offering lease for buying bicycles.
Since the beginning of this year, 3200 citizens and children of Uliastai have engaged in a bicycle tour for over 70 days of the weekend, organized by two bicyclist clubs. Citizens are encouraged to use bicycle on a daily basis, protecting their health as well as the environment, and saving money.
