President Kh.Battulga watches judo tournament with state leaders

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ After the completion of the Third Eastern Economic Forum in Vladivostok, Russia, President of Mongolia Kh. Battulga and his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin and Prime Minister of Japan Shinzo Abe watched the final bouts of the Annual International Vladivostok Jigaro Kano Junior Judo Tournament at Fetisov Arena sports complex on September 7.

The tournament was carried out between September 4 and 8 under the auspices of President of Russia Vladimir Putin and Prime Minister of Japan Shinzo Abe, deciated to the 100th anniversary of the first judo face-to-face match betwee Russia and Japan.

The tournament was attended by judokas from Mongolia, Russia and Japan. During the awarding ceremony, the dignitaries handed the medals to winners, runner-ups and third place holders. 

At the end of the event, Mr Putin expressed gratitude to Marius Vizer, the president of the International Judo Federation, for contributions to the sport of judo.
