Ts.Battsetseg wins gold medal from Ashgabat Games

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ A Mongolian wrestler Ts.Battsetseg grabbed a gold medal in the in women’s open weight division of jiu-jitsu tournament at the 5th Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games, continuing in Ashgabat, Turkmenistan.
Another Mongolian M.Sugar claimed a silver medal in the same contest. In accordance with the rule, medalists of previous contests of jiu-jitsu are qualified to compete in the open weight class.
As of today, the national team of Mongolia has collected three gold, five silver and six bronze medals from the Games, being ranked seventh place alongside Vietnam. Our athletes won the medals in belt-wrestling, jiu jitsu and tradional wrestling.
