Mongolia wins first medal in Fire and Rescue Sports World Championships

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The 13th World Championship among men and 6th World Championship among women in fire and rescue were concluded on October 1 in Izmir, Turkey.
Organized by the International Sport Federation of Firefighters and Rescuers, the competitions were attended by 300 teams from 17 countries. Mongolia was represented by a team from the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA). The team of Mongolia that included eight athletes claimed the first ever medal in the Championships after gaining an achievement of 27:08 seconds in the contest of combat deployment.
