President Kh.Battulga plants trees at his former school

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ President Kh.Battulga planted trees at the 34th School in Khan-Uul district on October 14, the National Tree Planting Day. The President graduated from this school in 1978.
“It is important that everyone should plant trees in order to mitigate global warming and desertification, and it is crucial to make sure well growing after the plantation,” said the President during his visit.
Since Mongolia started observing the National Tree Planting Day, over 9 million trees have been planted on the national level. Statistics indicate that about 6 million planted trees showed growth.
R.Ulziihishig, Principal of the 34th School, thanked the President for his visit and promised to make sure of the growth of the saplings. While planting trees, the President was joined by his classmates from the school, and then legged his old classroom.
