State of corruption being examined in aimags

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The Independent Authority against Corruption’s (IAAC) working groups headed by department chairs of the Authority are working in aimags to define state of corruption there. The working groups worked in Khovd, Bayan-Ulgii, Uvs, Bayankhongor, Gobi-Altai, Zavkhan, Khentii, Dornod and Sukhbaatar aimags from Octeber 29 to November 10 and planned to work in Bulgan, Darkhan-Uul, Selenge, Dundgobi, Umnugobi, Uvurkhangai, Arkhangai, Khuvsgul and Orkhon on November 12-14.
The working groups are launching activities of the Public Sub-Councils for Corruption Prevention under the Regulation Sub-Council for Crime Prevention, making contracts with the sub-council members and examine implementation of anti-corruption law and regulations by state organizations in aimags. The working groups will release a recommendation based on the examination results.
