Kh.Enkhbold becomes World Champion in powerlifting

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Mongolian powerlifter Kh.Enkhbold claimed gold medal in 105 kg weight category at the IPF World Open Bench Press Championship which is being held in Pilsen, the Czech Republic.
Led by D.Battulga, Secretary General at the Mongolian United Powerlifting Federation (MUPF), a total of eight powerlifters are participating in the championship.
On Thursday Kh.Enkhbold became a World champion, lifting a total of 317.5 kg. This achievement is the second gold medal from world championships and the first from bench press.
Powerlifters B.Gansukh (83 kg) and L.Ganbaatar (74 kg) also won bronze medals. The championship is continuing.
