Training room for jewel smith launched

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ A training room for jewel smith was launched at Rajiv Gandhi Polytechnic College of Production and Art on January 18.
The training room is established in framework of a project for making artisanal miners official and develop products made of precious metals with purpose to produce products with explored gold by artisanal miners, provide them a condition learn and work as a craftsman.
The German Society for International Cooperation and the College Jointly organized a competition and exhibition among craftsmen last year and collaborate in vocational training.
Training room for jewel smith will give stimulus to put the final products on the domestic and foreign markets and conduct training to improve smith's skills to combine tradition with modern technique and arts. I am confident that new highly skillful smiths who have their own manners or techniques will will be trained, said B.Davaajav, Director of the College.
