National skiing champions of 2018 selected

Ulaanbaatar/MONTSAME/ National Ski Championship of Mongolia ran on March 8-11 in Jargalant soum of Tuv aimag. More than 100 skiers from 12 sport clubs of Tuv, Khentii, Darkhan, Khuvsgul and Dornod aimags and ‘Khilchin’ and ‘Aldar’ sport committees competed in the championship, co-organized by Mongolia Ski Association and Jargalant soum administration.
In men’s 10km, B.Achbadrakh caught a gold medal, followed by S.Duurenbayar and O.Gantulga.
In women’s 5km, E.Ariuntungalag won a gold medal, followed by A.Enkhtuul and E.Ariunzul.
A.Enkhtuul claimed the top spot in women’s sprint event, while S.Duurenbayar grabbed a gold medal in men’s sprint classic.
In women’s 10km skiing (mass start classic), A.Enkhtuul won a gold medal, followed by D.Oyunchimeg and E.Ariuntungalag. S.Duurenbayar won the first place in men’s 15 km skiing (mass start classic).
