Children’s hospital of Nalaikh district granted medical devices

Ulaanbaatar/MONTSAME/ One million CNY-worth essential medical equipment and devices were granted to the Children’s Hospital of Nalaikh district on March 26, as a part of a project activity being co-implemented by ‘Khangarid-Ulaanbaatar’ NGO and China Friendship Foundation for Peace and Development (CFFPD).
G.Ganbayar, executive director of the Khangarid-Ulaanbaatar NGO, said: “Our project targets on improving Ulaanbaatar city’s health service, especially the pediatric treatment, and will last for three years. It aims at constructing children’s hospital and ambulatory care centers in five districts.”
Within the project, children’s ambulatory care center was previously opened in Chingeltei district and 50-bed children’s hospital in Nalaikh district in 2017.
Present at the ceremony were S.Batbold, Governor of the Capital City and Mayor of Ulaanbaatar, S.Amarsaikhan, chairman of the Citizens’ Representative Meeting of Ulaanbaatar city, Xing Haiming, Chinese Ambassador to Mongolia, L.Byambasuren, deputy Health Minister, and other officials.
