To Introduce E-Audit and Strengthen Human Resources in Cooperation with TİKA

Ulaanbaatar, October 3, 2025 /MONTSAME/. Auditor General of Mongolia Magnaisuren Sandag received the Coordinator of the Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TİKA), Mustafa Bütün, in Ulaanbaatar on October 2, 2025.
Operating in more than 60 countries worldwide, TİKA has pursued effective cooperation with Mongolia across various sectors, implementing around 900 projects and programs since 2004. At the beginning of the meeting, Auditor General Magnaisuren shared the experience of cooperation, highlighting the successful digitization of the archives and library of the Secretariat of the State Great Khural with TİKA’s support. He further expressed readiness to cooperate on strengthening the institutional capacity of the State Audit Office of Mongolia, including training staff, applying advances in information technology in its operations, and introducing an e-audit system based on artificial intelligence.
TİKA Program Coordinator in Ulaanbaatar, Mustafa Bütün, emphasized confidence that the cooperation with the Audit Office would continue to be productive and beneficial. He added that the proposal of the Auditor General of Mongolia would be reflected in the list of projects to be implemented next year through TİKA and conveyed to the headquarters.
The meeting was also attended by Secretary-General and Senior Auditor of the National Audit Office B. Bundkhorol, Head of the Information and Technology Center B. Ser-Od, and other officials.
